B Newton Motor Co. Limited was formed in 1963 by
Brian Newton who was previously with De Havilland
Aircraft Co. as a senior electronics engineer.
The company was started with £100, and had
two employees selling used cars. In 1968, we took
the Honda franchise and called ourselves Newton
Honda and within two years became the largest Honda
Parts stockist in the U.K..
The Honda Civic came to the UK in 1974 followed
later by the Accord and Prelude models, which expanded
Honda car sales rapidly in the U.K.
In 1989, the company moved its main premises to
West Croydon where we have won the Honda Dealer
of the Year award in recognition of our achievements
in both sales and in customer care. Newton Honda
is the only London dealer ever to win this award.

We opened our parts,
service and used car satellite site in South Norwood
in 1996.
We moved our Croydon site again in 2005 to our current
location (pictured to the right) in South Croydon.
The Newton family trace their ancestry back to and
beyond Sir Isaac Newton, our family tree can be
viewed in our reception area today!
